    Excellent beach views.

    We faced significant delays at check-in, waiting over an hour. The first room had a broken lock, and we were rerouted to a dirty room. After multiple complaints, we finally settled into a clean room, but the service remained lacking throughout our stay.

    Magnificent location, within 15 minutes walk to Ventura. Efficient staff especially the receptionists, fully-equipped rooms with a double bed.

    The staff was accommodating, and my daughter received a good plush toy upon our arrival. The facilities were excellent, including the pool, kids club, and beautiful beach views. We enjoyed the amazing buffet food and found the staff really helpful and friendly.

    No significant negatives experienced.

    The Chef Mr. Khan went out of his way to attend to a special request of ours. The food, in general is great, though very expensive. The location is great. Spa facilities are fantastic.

    The air-conditioning in the hotel and the room was not working properly on both nights of our stay. The hotel food is very expensive and there are very little options to eat elsewhere. Hence, it is recommended that travellers book packages which include all meals. While the rooms are large and spacious, the bathrooms are really very small.

    The location offers a beautiful beach on one side and access to a river on the other, perfect for water sports. The staff were courteous and efficient. Opting for the breakfast and dinner buffet was a highlight, with a good mix of Sri Lankan and continental dishes, excellent! The large lawn area with shaded benches added to the relaxing atmosphere, although some areas felt crowded during peak hours.

    The quiet, the beauty of the very well-kept grounds and pool, the ocean and river views. The cleanliness of the room, the friendliness and helpful intentions of the staff. The beautiful buffets, spa and other facilities on the grounds including a gym, free wifi. There was a lot to like!

    I was sorry the ground level restaurant was closed to hotel patrons due to a special group using it the whole time we were there. The buffet was gorgeous and delicious, but priced quite a bit above what I usually feel comfortable paying, especially the Sunday breakfast. We did use room service, the bar lounge and pool side eating places which were nice enough, less expensive, but had very limited vegetarian options. The spa was beautiful, relaxing and a very pleasant experience, but again, the price was far above what I would expect in Sri Lanka. I would have used it more often if the prices had been a bit more reasonable and realistic. I was sorry our room safe wouldn't close, and that our room refrigerator wouldn't open.

    The beautiful decor, the delicious food, live music in dinning room, the evening cultural show and entertainment, the lagoon and water sports, the best massage spa, the fabulous swimming pool, the rooms were spacious clean thoughtfully equipped and very comfortable with shutters large balcony clothes rack flask, kettle, tv and much more.

    none whatsoever will certainly stay again with pleasure.

    staff was very freindly

    hotel needs an urgent renovation. Bathroom was dirty, mold/grime between bathroom tiles. Room was not very nice, needs urgent update. Swimming pool is ugly and the grounds around the pool are un-kept, weeds and grass growing near pool and mud everywhere on the ground.

    We spent three nights enjoying the fresh and tasty food, especially at dinner where we loved the variety. The outdoor swimming pool and beautiful beach access made our stay super relaxing. Just a heads up, the cappuccino could use a little improvement, but it didn’t take away from our great time! ☀️

    Paid a 10% service charge on rate of room(on arrival) + anything which was purchased in hotel(everything). I did not mind this fact but found it rather frustrating that although the compulsory charges were made all of the staff were quite blatant about wanting further tips(for everything). I am a very good tipper but felt very uneasy when being pushed for tips after already paying the compulsory service charges were already being made to the hotel. The hotel should really be paying out to the staff the automatic service charges they are making.
